A trip to the petting zoo

This weekend was actually very pleasant and warm out (unlike today!!!) so Mommy, Daddy, and I decided to go get some outdoors time at the petting zoo. They were trying to convince me that there were many kinds of animals there, but to be perfectly honest, I only saw dogs.

For instance, here are some pictures of me and Dad visiting some doggies that Daddy kept calling "goats." But I'm sure he meant to say dog.

We gave the big doggies some food, and they swarmed us!! Daddy was none to happy, but Mommy thought it was funny.

Then Mommy took me to see some small, white quacking doggies. She said they were ducks, but I was sure to correct her.

Here is a doggie with a beard...

... And a really big doggie with big ears and a lot of hair.

This doggie was named "bobcat." I loved watching him pace back and forth.

These doggies were making loud, funny noises. Mommy said they were roosters and they were crowing. But you can plainly see that they were dogs, so they must have been barking.

This animal Mommy actually called a "donkey" which is probably a kind of doggie.

I thought this dog looked particularly like a large version of Peanut. It was very funny.

Another thing that is funny is when I get to ride on Daddy's shoulders. Sometimes I like to try and lick his head.

This doggie's name is "deer." I got his attention by calling him "Dee-Dut." Well, he really looks a lot like Peanut, doesn't he???

When the sun went behind some clouds and it got cold, we went to the greenhouse and looked at the pretty flowers.

So that was our latest outing to the petting zoo. I can't wait to go again when the weather is warmer... and maybe even to the big zoo soon!
