A Saturday in Providence, RI
Daddy had to work the NACAC College Fair in Providence last Saturday, so Robert & Mom came along for the ride. Here they are on the Orient Point ferry. That's the yacht we just purchased in the background.
We went up early, so we stopped at Roger Williams Park in Providence -- which is actually really nice! They have a zoo, a mounted patrol division where you can see the police horses, duck-shaped paddle boats you can rent, botanical gardens... and a playground, thoughtfully sponsored by Hasbro:
They had a neat Candy Land-themed path to run:
And Mr. Potato Head welcomes visitors at the front gate.
(I don't know how we managed to miss every other kid in the park in these shots -- the day was beautiful, and place was packed.)
