Wedding Day

Finally, the big day arrived! We got to the church early to make sure Robert had some more chances to practice walking the aisle.

Robert wanted a photo by the big flowers on the altar also.

Robert had a little... adventure during his ring-bearing. Unable to be restrained any longer, he jogged down the aisle, across the front of the altar, back down the side aisle, through the pews to the center aisle again, giggling... until Daddy grabbed him and brought him up to the front.

Thankfully, it didn't affect anything, as the limousine driver was taking his time attaching the runner at the back of the church. So Lauren had no idea. (Hopefully, we'll have some photos from other folks soon. It really was hilarious.)

Once the ceremony began, Robert was a perfect gentleman:

After the ceremony, Lou's firefighter colleagues lined the steps:

And Robert practiced his bubbles.

A very, very tired ringbearer, just moments before Grandma and Grandpa came to the reception to pick him up:

Once Robert was gone, the party began. I escorted Lauren's friend Bonnie, who I've known since she was a little kid:

We made the mistake of bringing the wrong camera that day, so all of our photos suck. Like I said, hopefully we'll get some more photos from other folks soon.
