"Get Me To The Farm..."

Enjoyed some time at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Suffolk County Farm this morning. Here, Robert and Emily pick up some in-farm-ation before heading in:

Robert was... well, dubious at first, as he doesn't have a lot of donkey experience:

But he quickly warmed up.

So he went over and said hello to Mr. Goat also:

They have a nice petting zoo area, and since we were the only people there, Robert got a chance to explore:

"Hey, Dad! Sheep!"

"And a horse!"

And back to his first friend, the donkey.

It was feeding time for the cows, which really impressed Robert at first:

Until the cow got a little lick in...

...and then got a big lick in, which made the little dude scream and cling to Mom:

We snuck into the baby chick hut (past the "Do Not Enter" sign, which I totally didn't see until we were on our way out):

All in all, a great experience! We'll definitely head back.

Great weekend for FARM-ilierizing the kids with the animals. I took the Christensen kids to Grandmas and we "Yiid" at the cows and "baahed" at the goats and RASPBERRIED at the horses!!!

GREAT FUN!!!

Oh, and Kollin didn't like the cows licking him either!
