A New Robe!

Robert insisted on adding a red bathrobe to his list this year, and Santa delivered it to Grandma & Grandpa's house. Thankfully, they brought it down when they visited.


He was so excited he had to back up and admire it.

Robert got a new digital camera from Nanny & Pop Pop! He got to try it out, taking pictures of the Christmas tree...

...and Aunt Marilyn...

Christmas, Part I

Thankfully, Robert slept in this morning... until after 8:00!! (Why can't he do this on regular weekends once in a while?) We came downstairs to find the stockings stuffed...

...the cookies gone...

...and a big present in the middle of the living room!

What could it be?


A KITCHEN!!!!

Santa also brought a tube of animals...

...and a robot...

...and a computer!


Grandpa Tom sent down a set of building logs, which were awesome...

...but it really all came back to the kitchen, after all.

Grandma and Aunt Lauren and Uncle Lou came over for brunch. Grandma brought an easel!

Christmas Eve

We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner tonight with the family, then made sure to put the cookies for Santa out on the fireplace!

Sunday afternoon was cookie time! Mommy made some dough, Daddy did the baking, and then we all sat down and decorated.

Making a Gingerbread House

Emily baked gingerbread cookies and made frosting from scratch bought a gingerbread house kit and sat down Friday evening to put it together with Robert. Robert tried tasting the candy first...

...but eventually realized where it was supposed to go.

Trains At Pop-Pop's

We went over to Nanny & Pop-Pop's for Emily's birthday last Sunday night, and Pop-Pop had his trains up!
