Handyman Daddy!

I am so proud of my Daddy!
He put together the new grill!!! Do you know what that means? That means that he singlehandedly assembled a large appliance made of sharp metal and a potentially explosive propane tank. All by himself and without anyone getting hurt. And he used a screwdriver and everything!
Wait... what is this??? An extra screw?
"I wonder where that was supposed to go?"
Oh, well. Hopefully that's no big deal! YAY DADDY!!

Lately, I am obsessed with sitting on furniture. Unfortunately, my little chair is just a teeny bit too tall for me to climb into. So I find other placed to sit....
Like on the door frame.
Isn't that pathetic??
So Daddy found me another little chair in the basement that is a little lower. It was his when he was my size, and he said I could borow it until I am tall enough to climb into my own chair.
This is a much more comfortable way to read the Babies R Us circular!

T-Ball Pro

I wish I could show everyone what a great T-Ball player I have become! I love hitting the ball off the tee! Unfortunately, Mommy isn't so good at catching it on camera.

Just Call Me Houdini

I am trying hard to become an escape artist. Here I am once again trying to get outside. I pushed and pushed with all my might, but apparently Mommy and Daddy have learned to lock the doors. One day I WILL escape!

Back to the Aquarium

We went to the aquarium again today... it is one of my favorite places!!

Here I am with Daddy. I was showing him some sand sharks. Sharks RULE!Since I knew where everything was, I gave Daddy a guided tour.
We headed straight for the big Shark Tank.
We did stop to see some little fish on the way. They are so fascinating!
SHARKS! I brought my little stuffed shark with me in honor of the occasion.

I took a bite out of my stuffed shark to show the real ones who is boss.
After the sharks, I showed Daddy a very beautiful, colorful tank.
Then I found a tank that was right at my height!

After a while, I decided to take charge a little more and push my own stroller.
Mommy followed me as I led the way!

Meanest. Mom. Ever.

So here is the story. I wanted to play outside. Mom wanted to make dinner. I do not like Mom's rules. So I made my feelings known while trying to pry the back door open with my little fingers.

When I found escape was futile, I followed her around letting her know I disapproved of the decision to stay inside. I also let her know that DADADADADA would agree with me. She was unmoved.

Cock-A-Doodle-Doo!

This afternoon while I was taking my nap, Mommy thought she heard crowing. So when I woke up, we got out my wagon and went to investigate.


Sure enough, when we got to the end of the street, we found chickens!!!




Then I saw something else... and I pointed it out to Mommy.

A bunny!!! Lounging under a tree without a care in the world. How bizarre.
After solving the case of the mysterious crowing, Mommy and I went back home to find that Daddy was home from work. Then Peanut took a little ride along with me.

Feeding the Ducks... Well, the Seagulls, at Least.

To top off a busy day outside, Mommy and Daddy took me to feed the ducks. But seagulls kept zooming in to steal the food!I got to see a beautiful swan.
We threw pieces of Donut to the ducks (and seagulls). Until I realized that we were THROWING DONUT! So I ate some myself while Daddy continued to feed the birds.

Cedar Beach Playground

After spending some time on the beach today, we went to the playground at Cedar Beach. I headed straight for the slide.

I slid and slid... I couldn't get enough!!







When Mommy got tired of lifting me onto the slide, she and Daddy took me to the tube.


HA! If I sit directly in the middle, you can't reach me from either side!!!
Then Daddy took me to swing. And we all know how I feel about swings. :)



After a good bit of swinging, I sat in the sand with Daddy to do more digging. The whole playground there is like one big sandbox!



Finally, I got up and went exploring on my own.
